Cheltenham Festival 2021 under the new Covid lockdown regime. A look back at the dramatic events that have brought a quiet sadness to the town after the last event of pre-Covid Britain. As someone whose life has irreversibly changed with Long Covid, I share the pain and guilt which was all pervasive as this Cheltenham resident realised her illness last year then became the same deadly bullet that took so many of the happy racegoers to hospitals and crematoriums.
